Privacy Policy
NeonRunner is a free browser cyberpunk arcade game in which you route a data packet through a virtual grid. This policy explains what information flows when you play.
1. Information We Collect
We run a clean network. The only data packets we log are:
- Standard HTTP headers your browser sends automatically — IP address, browser type, OS, and referrer.
- Your personal high score (gates cleared), kept only in local browser storage and never transmitted off your device.
- Anonymous aggregate connection counts that cannot be linked to any individual runner.
2. How We Use Information
Data is used exclusively to keep the grid online, debug connection errors, and understand general run statistics. No ads, no behavioral profiling, no data marketplace.
3. Local Storage
Your high score lives in local browser storage only. Flush your browser data and it's wiped — we hold no backup.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts load from Google Fonts via a standard browser request. No other external services are connected to the grid.
5. Children's Privacy
NeonRunner contains no violence, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The packet simply disconnects when it hits a wall. Suitable for all ages. We do not collect data from users under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files, if any, are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted. Locally stored gameplay data is on your device only and subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Because we collect minimal data, fulfilling such requests may have limited scope in practice.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect any data we handle. No internet transmission method is fully secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
Policy changes are flagged with a new date above. Stay jacked in and you accept any updates.
